The design of the 2024 Cobra DarkSpeed Drivers is much more daring than last season with the AeroJet series. Using optimized aerodynamics and weight distribution as a starting point, the result is not only a very beautiful design, but the power also splashes out. Attention has been paid to space-based materials down to the smallest details to create an innovative top driver. In this DarkSpeed Max version, the focus is on maximum forgiveness but with innovative technology that makes the drivers more powerful and consistent. Cobra is throwing high points this season with a choice of three different types of DarkSpeed clubheads, designed to match your exact skill level and requirements.

Handy to know is that Cobra supplies the DarkSpeed drivers with 3 different clubheads that are largely similar in technique but do differ in details.
If your focus is on forgiveness, then this DarkSpeed Max is the version with the focus on a bit more forgiveness. In short, the DarkSpeed X version is the most neutral of the three, finding a fine combination between maximum distance and control on the one hand and forgivingness on the other.
The Cobra Darkspeed LS (LS=Low Spin) is the version for the more advanced, skilled golfer seeking more length, control, and feedback/feel with less ball spin. The ball flight is lower and the explosiveness is even greater which does cost some forgiveness. However, the better golfer will not mind that much. Torx adjustment wrench is included for all versions.

As we've come to expect from Cobra in recent years, there's a heavy focus on distance, which is readily apparent in the powerful feel and sound of good ball contact. To achieve that, Cobra has taken aerodynamics to the next level which has resulted in a beautiful, streamlined design. In doing so, this DarkSpeed Max has the most weight in the back of the clubhead for maximum forgiveness. Also, an extra Tungsten weight has been placed centrally to keep the spin rate low, leaving plenty of control. In addition, the lower and further forward PWR-BRIDGE allows for even higher ball speeds and minimizes spin to achieve better energy transfer to the ball. Also, the PWRSHELL L-cup Clubface/Stroke Face, which is 10% larger than last year, provides more distance, while the A.I. optimized H.O.T. Face innovation provides more efficient speed & spin across the entire hitting surface. Finally, all Cobra DarkSpeed 2024 drivers are loft adjustable over a 3-degree range, useful for fine-tuning the height of your ball flight at what works best for you.

The Cobra Darkspeed Max Driver 2024 comes standard with the Lin'Q M40 Red graphite shaft but delivery with another shaft is also no problem. In terms of grip, the Lamkin Crossline 58R Black in standard men's size has been chosen.
