_{The technique}

As with the drivers and fairway woods in this ladies series, Wilson uses the Variable Face face material, made from Carpenter Custom 455 Steel. This provides flexibility in the clubface which makes the ball speed much greater, whether you hit it exactly clean or next to the sweetspot. Lots of forgiveness so.... always handy. Also, better thought has been given to ideal weight distribution in the club head. This Optimized Weighting increases the balance in the clubhead and you get more power from your club. Finally, Wilson's Progressive Head Shape creates stronger, higher-volume lofts for more forgiveness on longer shots, while the curvature of the face on lower heads allows for a more consistent stroke and greater accuracy.
