After nearly 20 years of enforcing successes with the Spider concept, TaylorMade has come out with the classic Spider Tour putters in technically updated form in late 2023. The new Spider Tour comes in several appearances with the Tour-Z perhaps looking the most futuristic with the little wings on the back. Beautiful, sensitive, controlled... they are definitely going to capture the imagination. The quality of the Spider (progressive) mallet-desgn putters is praised worldwide by Tour pros and amateur golfers alike. The unique balance in combination with the new True Path Alignment alignment and improved Pure Roll insert does bring a lot of stability and putting feels controlled. This Tour-Z version is one with Double Bend shaft connection which makes it even more Face Ballanced.

These new Spider Tour Z 2023 putters from TaylorMade deliver optimum stability with TSS Weights (balance weights) positioned forward to provide greater face rotation and 30° Toe-hang balance. In addition, the long-standing True Path Alignment is integrated to help golfers visualize the intended putting line for improved accuracy. Also integrated is the improved TPU Pure Roll Insert in the clubface (interface) of the Spider which is made of Surlyn and aluminum. The grooves in it are placed at a 45° angle for optimal forward roll. This prevents the ball from "jumping" off the clubface at impact. The perfected Precision Weighting provides exceptional stability and balance with the Hybrar Echo Damping neutralizing unwanted vibrations and providing a Premium feel and sound.
