TaylorMade has again this season equipped the women's version with the most forgiving Qi10 Max clubhead. Characteristic of the Max version is that it is the fairway wood with the highest, most predictable ball flight with a lot of weight placed at the back of the head to minimize deviation on mishits. With these fairway woods, just like the Qi10 drivers, it has been very successful in ensuring that when you hit the ball on the toe, the club head does not spin away causing your ball to leave to the right. This has been achieved by significantly increasing the MOI, truly a breakthrough in forgiving. In addition, there are several advanced techniques from previous models such as the V-Steel sole, Twist Face and the Thru-Slot Speed Pocket that give especially low hit balls more speed and less deviation. Also, the Infinity Cabon Crown (top) of the Qi10 club head has been redesigned for better weight distribution creating more power and control. All in all, it feels nice and solid, powerful and very playable.
