PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A GOLF CLUB FOR LEFT-HAND GOLFERS (shown right-handed)
Following the successful Stealth series of golf clubs from the 2022 and 2023 collections, TaylorMade has introduced the Qi10 collection for 2024, of which this TaylorMade Qi10 Hybrid Club 2024 is a part. With a fresh look at shaping and design, the specifications have been taken to an even higher level. As a result, this Qi10 'rescue club' feels at least as controlled as its so successful predecessors. In addition to the many existing innovations that have been upgraded, the Split Weight Design in particular has improved balance and thus playability.
Different versions
Just like in the 2023 season collection, TaylorMade has a choice of 3 different versions with the beautiful Qi10 hybrid clubs 2024. Largely leaning on the same technology, similar in design but different in details like balance, adjustability and ball flight characteristics you can choose which of the three suits you best. Roughly speaking, you can say that this "neutral" Qi10 version is for the largest group of golfers who are looking for lots of forgiveness and nice power without sacrificing control. In addition, there is the Qi10 Max version that promotes a higher, Draw-like ball flight due to a different balance, making it more interesting for golfers who struggle with a persistent slice or who want to hit a Draw (a controlled ball flight over the right) more easily 'on command'. The third Qi10 Tour is for the slightly more advanced or more demanding golfer looking for a maximally adjustable and controllable version. The Tour version also has loft adjustability, very useful for 'shaping' the ball flight even though it is flatter than the other two versions anyway.
Technique
The chic Qi10 hybrid clubs look more distinguished than those from the previous 2023 Stealth-2 collection. Every season, people "turn the knobs" on the details to take design and specifications to the next level. That certainly worked out well for the 2024 collection. It continues the trend of having a larger percentage of Carbon in the clubhead with more stability and a lower center of gravity which creates more forgiveness as well as better balance. First, there are improvements in the V-Steel Sole design for less drag with the ground. In addition, an upgraded Twist Face technique ensures less "damage" to balls that are hit out of bounds and the forgiveness is also better due to the improved Thru-Slot SpeedPocket design. One of the new details is the Split Weight Design innovation where the 450SS Clubface (face) is thinner in the middle and thicker around the edges, with a thicker sheath around the middle to maximize speed across the entire face. All in all, an all-around club for more versatility.
Standard version
This LEFT-HANDED TaylorMade Qi10 Hybrid Club comes standard with the Fujikura Ventus Blue TR 70HB graphite shaft for a somewhat flatter ball flight, complemented by a 47-gram Lamkin Crossline 360 Standard men's grip.
