American PXG has clearly shown in recent years that it can join the ranks of the top brands. Not only has this manufacturer managed to develop a completely unique style and look, there is also a lot to talk about on a technical level. Although PXG has launched beautiful putters before, this Allan putter is very special indeed.... and truly distinctive.

_{The technique}

PXG markets it as the discovery of the century but the Zero Torque Balance Technology is indeed something that is positively engaging those golfers who have heard or read about it. Looking at the balance, when you hold it horizontally, this putter will always point forward with the face of impact. The weight distribution in combination with the S-Hosel that attaches the shaft to the club head creates that effect and that really does make putting easier. Whether your puttingstroke is straight or more of a rotational (arc) doesn't even matter anymore.
Also ball contact with this PXG Allan Putter feels fine, controlled and cushioned with increased length control. That cushioned feel is caused by the S-Cor Polymer padding in the clubhead with Precision Weighting Technology ensuring a fine balance distribution. The latter also looks unique as it is clearly visible that there is hardly any weight behind the face itself. Finally, there is the Pyramid Face Pattern on the hitting surface which, due to its special structure, gives more feeling during ball contact. All in all: this PXG Allen is unique in terms of technology, has a unique design with unique features...
