The TaylorMade Qi35 series of hybrid clubs shows that, after the great success of the Qi10 collection last season, TaylorMade is technically continuing in the same direction. The existing innovations have been sharpened and optimised considerably with more focus on lowering the centre of gravity this season. As a result, your strokes with these clubs will get a bit more height more easily, which is nice. Also, all these versatile Qi35 hybrids feature loft adjustability. Handy because it allows you to fine-tune the club when it comes to the height of your strokes.

TaylorMade also has several options for the hybrids in this Qi35 series. This 'neutral' Qi35 rescue is the version with both many forgiving features and a focus on the ideal balance between ball speed, feel and playability. With a mid-high ball flight, it is best referred to as an all-rounder. There is also the Qi35 Max where the focus is on maximum forgiveness and a slightly higher ball flight. This makes the club easier to play and still nice and explosive. Finally, there is the Qi35 Max Lite. which is suspiciously similar to the Max but in a lightweight version for golfers who still want to generate enough distance with a quieter swing. You see... something for everyone.

_Technique

The trend of making hybrid clubs lighter and lighter at the top is in full swing because it makes them play better. In doing so, the centre of gravity is lower and lower, making it easy for the ball to gain height during your strokes. The Advanced Multi-Material Construction of the clubhead allows Chrome-Carbon, steel and aluminium to work seamlessly together in the perfect blend of form and function. In addition, TaylorMade features a number of valuable technical innovations such as Twist Face, Thru-Slot Speed Pocket and Carbon Crown. These clever features provide more feel and forgiveness to make controlled launching of the ball and making lots of speed easier. The 3° Loft Sleeve is also on board. This loft adjustability gives the freedom to use the loft to easily adjust the distance and height of the ball flight according to preference.

This TaylorMade Qi35 Hybrid Club comes standard with the Fujikura Ventus Blue HB '25 graphite shaft for a somewhat flatter ball flight, complemented by a 52-gram Golf Pride Z-Grip Standard men's grip (60R).
