General
With this powerful Mizuno ST-X 220 Hybrid club, the distinguished Japanese golf manufacturer has developed a club that is perfect for golfers who have difficulty handling long irons. It's also perfect for hitting distance from difficult locations in high grass. Lots of integrated technique, enormous forgiveness and plenty of explosiveness.
The technique
Every golfer should have such a club in his bag. Not just for emergencies when the ball is in high grass, but also for the simple 'safe' way to get the ball to the green over long distances without it rolling off again. Mizuno's X-Axis Design, with its featherweight crown (top of the head) and deep rear weighting, provides a low centre of gravity that allows your ball to gain height easily. The Optimized Wave Sole, designed specifically for these hybrids, helps create higher ball speeds from shots hit low on the 1.8mm thin Masic Face. The feel is top-heavy and the contact is solidified for more confidence.
Standard version
These fine ST-X 220 Hybrid / Rescue clubs are fitted with Aldila Ascent 50 graphite shafts as standard but can be fitted with your preferred shaft on request. The standard grip is the standard size, black-grey Lamkin Hybrid ST+2
Fitting options: Feel free to call GolfDriver customer service (Tel.: +31 085-0602099) for personal advice or to discuss specific requirements.
