Where this P-DHY is the more forgiving club by crossing the characteristics of irons with hybrid clubs, the 'Tour Inspired' P-Udi is the more powerful version from forged 'forged' steel for advanced golfers. Forged steel, in this case, ensures that these P-DHY clubs cause more feedback and a bit more controllability. These 2024 P-DHY driving irons with narrower, longer club head profile have higher playability thanks to a lower centre of gravity. Again, Individual Mass Optimisation with a back wall construction varying in thickness, a sound stabilisation bar and purposefully distributed mass maximises forgiveness. Hitting outside the sweetspot is not ideal but does not immediately result in much 'damage' to ball flight.
Compared to the P-UDI, the sole of this P-DHY is less narrow and the offset is larger, making it suitable for a broader MID handicap target group. In doing so, the ball flight is medium-high with relatively low ball spin and reasonably good controllability. The 26g Tungsten weight also provides the ideal balance.
