This season, TaylorMade is again targeting different groups of golfers with three models: the Stealth, the Stealth HD, and these Stealth Plus+ drivers. The main difference between these three models is that the Stealth Plus, due to an 80-gram Zatech Titanium block on the clubhead, is more powerful than the Stealth and the Stealth HD. This weighting gives more power and distance without compromising control. Indeed. this Stealth Plus also brings more feel and playability for demanding golfers with lower HCP. The 'normal' Stealth and the Stealth are also powerful but lack the weighting that allows golfers with a high or mid handicap to play better with them. On the HD version (which stands for High Draw), the balance in the clubhead has a Draw setting, and that weighting makes it easier to hit a Draw (ball flight over right) while suppressing a Slice.

_Technique

Premium fabrikant TaylorMade blijft haar innovaties verbeteren. Het volledig nieuwe 60X Carbon Twist slagvlak is een stuk lichter dan een gelijkwaardig titanium slagvlak, terwijl het 11% groter is dan de SIM2 drivers. Zestig lagen koolstofvezel zijn strategisch ontworpen om de energieoverdracht te optimaliseren voor hoge balsnelheden over een groot gebied, wat resulteert in optimale afstand en vergevingsgezindheid. Verbeterde, reeds bekende techniek in deze clubs is aangevuld met waardevolle specificaties die golfen leuker maakt. Zo zorgt de Advanced V-Steel Sole met Twist Face ervoor dat onzuiver op het clubface / slagvlak geraakte ballen niet haaks de baan uit vliegen. Ook zorgt de zool van deze Stealth Plus ervoor dat er een smoother contact is met de ondergrond waardoor meer clubsnelheid overblijft. Interessante verhogers van de vergevingsgezindheid voor golfers met laag of mid handicap. De verbeterde Thru-Slot Speed Pocket en het 80 grams zware titanium blok in deze nieuwe Plus versie van de Stealth woods is ook zo'n maatregel die zorgt voor meer balsnelheid en gevoel en controle over wat je met de club doet.
