General
The Wilson DynaPWR Max Fairway Woods 2025 are certainly not out of the ordinary when you compare the level of finish and use of materials to the beautiful Wilson DynaPower drivers. These fine fairway woods have a well-successful Premium 'look and feel' and have been developed with Wilson keeping the price arrow a little lower than the rest of the A-brands, positive news for Wilson fans. Older Wilson fans may remember that the DynaPWR series name is one with a long, successful history. This second new DynaPWR batch also lives up to this name.
The technique
With the fairway woods from the DynaPWR 2 series by 2025, a nice combination can be made with the matching drivers. For example, a huge sweetspot ensures plenty of forgiveness, even if you don't hit the ball quite centrally on the clubface. This is caused by, among others, the Wilson PKR2 Dynamic Face Thickness Innovation which means that with a variable-thickness face, ball speed is maximised without sacrificing forgiveness and stability. Ball flight has also been kept a little higher by positioning most of the weight at the back of the clubhead. This also creates a bit more margin for not having to hit exactly cleanly to keep the ball straight.
Wilson also differentiates between target groups in the fairway woods. For instance, there is the DynaPWR Max, the most forgiving club for starters to somewhat advanced golfers, and serves the better golfers with an LS (Low Spin) version for more power and control. In between is the DynaPWR Carbon, an all-rounder with the best of both worlds.
Different versions
Wilson also differentiates between target groups in its fairway woods. The DynaPWR Max is the most forgiving club for starters and slightly advanced golfers, while the Carbon version offers more power and control for better golfers. In addition, there is the forgiving Max Lite for ladies.
Standard version
This Wilson Staff DynaPower Fairway Wood 2025 comes standard with UST Lin-Q Red Graphite Shaft with Lamkin CrossLine 360 men's grip.
