Wilson is back in the Premium segment with the DynaPower series of golf clubs. In terms of design, specifications and performance, Wilson Staff DynaPower irons can be compared with the other big brands in the golf industry... handsomely done. Even given the somewhat lower price level compared to those big A-brand manufacturers, this is very positive news for true Wilson fans. Nice detail here is that the DynaPower series name is one that has a long, successful history. After the introduction of the Dynapower irons in 2023, in 2024 the DynaPower Forged iron set will consist of irons with softer, forged steel for more feel and feedback.

_{The technique}

These Wilson Staff Dynapower Forged irons are flat distance irons with more feel made from a softer, more feedback-generating 8620 carbon steel. Thereby, Dynapower AI Face Technology and the variable face thickness within that innovation, ensures that a larger part of the clubface is made into Sweetspot. Especially from centre to toe, where 85% of balls are hit. Wilson has also significantly improved the Power Holes Innovation in these irons. These are integrated for extra explosiveness and playability. These strategically integrated Urethane-filled Power Holes create a more flexible hitting surface which increases both ball speed and sweet spot. The hitting surface is thereby made maximally flexible to achieve higher ball speeds. This gives golfers more freedom to hit the ball more accurately so that it does not swing off-centre hits. The centre of gravity has been lowered to generate a slightly higher, even more predictable ball flight. The strategic placement of the weight in the clubhead increases the MOI (Moment Of Inertia), providing more error forgiveness on off-centre hits.
