This forgiving Wilson Ultra XD men's fairway wood 3 (15°) has a clubhead finished in light but sturdy titanium. All the features needed to play a fairway wood reasonably easily and quickly are on board. Starting golfers need a clubhead with a large sweetspot and a low centre of gravity, as this provides the necessary forgiveness. This eliminates the need to hit the ball exactly straight for good results, which is nice.
